Is this a real thing? Maddie is just over 18 weeks old was consistently sleeping from 7-7:30 until 3-4, wake to eat, then back to sleep until about 6:30ish since she was 8 weeks old. The past few nights, she has started waking up around 11:30, 2:30/3:30, then again at 6:30. She is also starting to fuss if her pacifier falls out. Does this sound like the 4 month wakeful period? Also, what were your experiences with this period? Anything I can do to get her to sleep like she was or do I have to just wait it out? Thanks!

Re: 4 month wakeful....
Mason is 4 months old and eats every 2 hours, around the clock, so I can definitely understand where you're coming from. I realize he's not the norm, but from what I have heard from others, the 4 month wakeful is for real. Read this:

Interesting - thank you for posting that. It just totally took me off guard the other night. We're also weaning her from swaddling, which may be enhancing it. Sounds like I will just have to be patient!
