Any ideas on what this might mean?

We were shown to an expectant mother last week. On Friday I found out we were still being considered and they would be in touch this week. Today our CW emailed us and said that a selection has not yet been made but they have received some more information that they would like to discuss with us in person on Monday afternoon.  I have NO idea what they couldn't tell us on the phone. Also we live about an hour from the office so it's not like it is convienent. She wouldn't give me any information except that it wasn't bad and not to worry about it and try not to think about it too much this weekend.. um... seriously? that's not going to happen! Anyone have any idea of what they could want to tell us???? or any ideas of how to make it through the weekend without going crazy??? :)

    wow that's weird and ANNOYING! Maybe the baby was already born?  Maybe there is medical issues? that's soooooo strange.  I hope you have LOTS of plans this weekend!!!
    Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever!     If the CW said it's not bad, I'd think positive ("It's twins!" "My BFF wants to meet you").

    I would be going nuts all weekend long.  I'm anxious for you, because there is no telling what she wants to discuss.  This is going to be a rough weekend :(  I wish she would just discuss it over the phone!!!

    Thanks everyone. It will be a busy weekend since it's Easter so if I can make it through tomorrow at work, I should be ok! Our CW is off now until Monday so I can't even try to get anything out of her. She said it wasn't bad so I am glad of that but I'm still anxious to know what it is! This expectant mother wants a closed adoption (at least that's what they told us last week). I just can't understand what would be so important (that wasn't bad) that they couldn't tell us over the phone! We will be driving an hour INTO Atlanta traffic on a Monday afternoon at 5! 

     

    hahaha.. if it's Twins, my DH might pass out! (but definitely accept!)

    Annoying but probably worth the wait! Especially since she said nothing to worry about.

    My first thought was that it's twins too!  I will be anxiously waiting for a report, but I think it's super weird that they are making you come in.  Maybe she has chosen a family and they just want to tell you in person or something!  Annoying for sure!
    TTC #1 since 12/07 SA 9/08=borderline normal HSG 1/09 found R tube blocked Multiple IUIs both with oral and injectible drugs from 2/09-2/11 Started domestic adoption process in 5/10, homestudy complete 9/10 Failed adoption after home with baby for 2 weeks 11/10 Blessed through the miracle of private adoption with a son, born 6/6/11 (his grandma's bday) 7lbs 9oz 20.5 inches long! So worth the wait!
