DD woke up crying last night and seemed shaky and really scared when we went in her room. Wanted nothing to do with her bed, had a bear hug aroung my neck and didn't want to let go, and ended up sleeping with me while DH slept on the couch. I felt really bad and didn't know what to do for her. A few times during the night she would cry a little and kick her feet, almost like she was trying to kick blankets off, but she was still sleeping through it.
Any ideas?
I should also mention that when I ask if something scared her she shakes her head yes, but can't tell me what it was
Re: can you tell me about nightmares?
Toddlers have nightmares, but aren't usually able to express their feelings about them. When DD is really upset, I rock her for awhile until she seems better, then put her back to bed. Luckily, they are few and far between.
She did wake up at 5 this morning screaming, "Don't WANT to go to Steak 'N Shake!" LOL. Muct have been some nightmare.
