Lansinoh Storage bag Question

Hi all,

When DD was born, she was in the hospital for a week. When my milk came in, I had to pump at night because it was so much. I was able to freeze much of this milk and have it still in my freezer for a time when I might need it.  I just read on the directions that I shouldve squeezed the excess air out of the bags to prevent freezer burn and preserve freshness. I didn't do this, and just zipped the seal shut. Is this milk still ok or should I throw it out?

Thanks!

  • The BM is still good. If anything the milk could just have a freezer burnt taste to it, but I doubt LO will mind :)

  • It's pretty much impossible to squeeze all the air out without spilling the milk, so I wouldn't worry about it. I always end up with bubbles in there.

  • It should be fine. I get most of the bubbles out but you can't get it all out.
