How long do you have to freeze BM before it goes bad?

I pumped on Saturday at midnight and left a couple of bottles in my mom's refrigerator. Can I still freeze them? Thanks!

I'd freeze it. Kelly mom says it's good up to 8 days in the fridge. Mine is usually in the fridge a few days

I would say about 5 days. Mine gets bad earlier because of my excess liapse though but normally a week.

I think I remember having a rotation from 5-7 days (refrigerated) to go into the freezer. You should be fine if you have only had it in there since Sat.

With my first child, her pediatrician said i can freeze BM for up to 2 weeks if it went straight from breast to freezer and was it an airtight container. She never got sick from it so I'd say you are good to go!

You can actually do 3 months or longer depending on you freezer

oh my was I THAT far off...my first child is 5 so I may have forgotten the time period...thanks for the correction! I'll remember that with this baby.
