I went into preterm labor last weekend and they managed to stop dilation, but the doctor said I'll have regular contractions until baby comes. I don't have anyone in my family or friends who had a preterm baby so I have absolutely no idea what kinds of things to expect, but is there any way that the contractions being regular for a long time can harm or stress my baby?

Re: preterm labor question
I'm not positive, but I don't think so. I think the main concern at this point would just be prolonging your pregnancy.
T&P that baby can cook until term!
Are you in the hospital being monitored? If so, the doctors/nurses would be immediately aware if the baby is in any distress.
My water broke at 25 weeks and I was on hospital bedrest for a week with pretty heavy contractions before she came. She was never in distress (until the night I actually gave birth).
Good luck!
