Should I go to accupuncture today!?!?! advice?

I just got my +OPK this morning and I have an accunpuncture appt. today at 1:15. Should I go on the day that I am possibly going to ovulate?

Also, we have a halloween party that we need to leave for at 6:00 p.m. tonight and DH is gone right now helping out a friend with some house work. He'll be home in time to take me to my appt. at 1:15 (we're dealing with only one working car right now) and then we need to get ready for the party when we come home.

Last time my appt. lasted two hours but that was my first appt. How long is a normal accupuncture appt....I'm guessing about an hour?

I'm thinking maybe I should just cancel so I'm not so stressed out!!! We need to get sex in there sometime this afternoon and I just want to make sure we have enough time.

    I think it's fine to go on a possible O day (the acu will ask where you are in your cycle).

    My first appoint was also about 2 hours.  The ones after have only been 1 hour.

    I would probably go, but if you don't have time, you don't have time.

    I would go if you can.  Tell your acupuncturist about your +OPK.

    My first appointment was about an hour and a half and the others were between 45 minutes and an hour.


    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    There's no reason to skip it because you got a +OPK. You likely won't ovulate until tomorrow anyway.

    The appt. should last about an hour, giving you plenty of time either before or after the party.
