I need some help!  OK- so I know I'm ridiculous but I'm SO excited for DS first birthday!
We're doing an "Under the Sea Theme"
We're going to do "turf and surf"  My dad fishes a lot at Lake Erie, so we're going to have him fry fish and then I'm going to make my famous sloppy turkey joes!

Anyway- I need creative food ideas.  I LOVE to cook, so the food is important to me.  I'm trying to think of fun foods that might go with the theme.... 
Gold fish crackers, Salt water taffy, Shrimp Cocktail, I need more ideas.... 

So if you're bored and creative, help a momma out!

    are you a sushi crowd? You could do sliders for turf (mini burgers/or sandwiches,or your sloppy joes) crab dip, crab cakes...

    I am doing a "Mystical Mermaid" theme for my daughters 9th birthday.  I am ordering star fish chocolate molds to make lollipops to go with the favors, sugar shell cupcake toppers & sea life cookie cutters to make sea horse, starfish, etc. cookies.
