So, we're going on a family trip to Vegas (my parents, sister and boyfriend, cousins, etc.). Obviously, we have to fly.
We would like to make the trip as low maintenance as possible, but we obviously need somewhere for her to sleep.
I was thinking about shipping a Pack N Play to the hotel instead of flying with it.
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Re: Where should Abby sleep in Vegas ...
I know a lot of hotels have baby supplies available to use/rent. I don't know how common that is in hotels in vegas though!
Sorry I can't be more help. We haven't travelled with Charlie yet!
I feel like I've seen too many 20/20s where there are feces on hotel cribs and they are nowhere close to safe.
I've heard great things about the PeaPods. We are planning on getting one for our trip to Hawaii!

When we traveled, we requested a pack n play instead of a crib -- seemed safer to me, though I just made that up. And I brought our own sheet for it. It was weird, because they set it up with a fluffy quilt. Really?
If you can get a pack n play from the hotel and bring a sheet, I'd do that.
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
Wow, I had never seen those PeaPod things before. DH is totally intrigued ...
"Wow, that's really sweet!"
I'm intrigued by those peapod things.
Are they good for mobile babies too? I would worry about the baby sleeping on the floor and then just being able to crawl out when awake? (Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm going on very little sleep.)
You can zip them up in it. It's great for traveling. We use ours for fishing and camping for T to play/sleep in! And if you go with the Peapod Plus it'll last longer than a pnp.

Chrissie -- get a PeaPod. We bought 2 PeaPod Pluses for my boys. They are amazing. We take them EVERYWHERE. They fold up easily and have their own carry bag.
