So based on someone's recommendation on a thread a few days ago, I got the Baby Bargains book. I usually go for kindle books so I can read them anywhere, but thought it might be useful to have the physical book in this case for making notes, etc.
Oh boy was I right. I thought this would be a cute little book with some helpful tidbits of information in the preparation process...oh no, this thing is a beast! Total information overload. But it's great at the same time.
Even though I'm constantly wishing this pregnancy could hurry along, I am suddenly thankful I have so much time to get through this crazy book!
Anyway, thanks for the suggestion, excuse me now I have to get reading ![]()

I had that book with DS and based on that expirence, I learned that no matter what, you will buy things that you think you will use but won't, and there are things that you don't initially buy because you think you don't need them, but then end up needing them. All babies are different.
As an example, we thought we for sure had to have a swing. Turns out DS hated it! But we would have never known that had we not bought one. Maybe baby #2 will like it?!
I found this link on an old post that lets you read the book as a preview.

I agree. I also think that some things change so quickly that Baby Bargains might not have the most up to date info. Carseats are one of those. I think online research is probably better in that situation.
