DH Vent

Ugh..I have been trying so hard to not lose it with DH or to vent but one or the other has to happen..I picked venting.

DH has had business trips two weeks in a row..couldn't be helped. When he returned from the first trip he decided the grout in our tub had to be redone. So, I had the kids on my own all week and all weekend.

While he was away this week Trevor had a gassy/collicky night on Tuesday and I only got a few hours sleep. Wednesday night we had some sort of weird electrical problem that I thought could be a short circuit that could cause a fire so my Dad came and got us at 11:30 at night..only got a few hours that night as well. DH came home from his trip with a cold and is completely incapacitated. Even though I am completely sleep deprived, and up in the night feeding the baby, I let him sleep in until 9 today to help him get over the cold. However, at the same time I feel like, dude it's a COLD suck it up and let ME get some sleep!

Anyway..petty vent I know..but helps me from going ballistic on DH so thanks. Feel free to add any vents of your own.

    Oh I feel your pain!  Men are the biggest babies when it comes to being sick.  Good luck- hope you get some sleep soon!

    I'm sorry it's been a rough couple weeks and DH isn't helping much. I hope he feels better soon so you can get some rest!

    Sorry it has been a rough week. I remember having a lot of silly fights with my DH the first few months with Samantha. We were both sleep deprived, tired, etc with two kids. As she starts, sleeping it got better. I just want to let you know that this happens and when both of y'all are not rested, small things can lead to bigger fights.
