DH is at a baseball game and Eli went down way early tonight so I'm here.

What is your opinion on Ward's burgers (especially the chili burgers)?
I personally think they are gross but so many people I know in MS love them.
UGH They are EVERYWHERE here. I've been there once because I had no choice. It wasn't awful but it is seriously nothing special.
LCB- if you could be any famous person for a day, who would you be and why?
DS's name is Elijah Thomas. DH and I have always loved Elijah. It means "my Lord is God". Thomas is my dad's middle name.
Lin- what is your biggest pet peeve and why?
Did you go natural for LO's birth or take the epi?
I've lived in the south my entire life. I used to be envious of people in the north for no real reason but as I've gotten older, I've learned to appreciate where I come from. I really can't imagine living anywhere else. I love to travel though so visiting the north is really fun. I've been to Boston several times, I think I could live there if I wasn't here.
Since you live in Long Island, do you have a Long Island accent or is that really played up in tv and movies like the southern drawl is?
Ugh...when I ask my husband a question and he don't answer or when I feel like I'm having a conversation with myself. It's usually because he is sucked into something on tv or the computer. Makes me crazy....
I love your son's name, my little guy is Urijah (your-eye-uh) which is biblical as well meaning "My Light"
I was a week overdue and was induced. I took the epi as soon as I could. It was wonderful.

I have to work Sunday which is NOT fun. Tomorrow we are taking Eli to our college alma mater's spring football game so that should be fun. Nothing too exciting.

Good pick. She just got married. I am waiting for my People to come in the mail to see pictures from it. I've always loved her.

I'm actually from California, so no Long Island accent for me. It is real though, my friends have one! Queens and Brooklyn have it worse though.
I had an epi too, I swear I almost proposed to the nice man who gave it to me..My fav ice cream has to be Ben and Jerry's chocolate fudge brownie...mmmmmmm...

What was the last book you read, and did you like it?
Ohhh tough one. I think I'll just say I'm a Bravo whore. I always put that channel on first. But, Bethenny wins for that station for sure.
Good one. I love to read. The last book was "No Time to Wave Goodbye" by Jacquelyn Mitchard. It is a sequel to "The Deep End of the Ocean" which was a popular book (and movie) several years ago. I loved the first book (read: CRIED through the 1st book) and this one was equally as moving. Definitely recommend.
Scout- what was the last concert you went to?

McKenna- I have always wondered where you bump name came from. Is that your first name or last name? I was a camp counselor in Kenya one summer in college and my favorite little girl's name was Makenna so your name reminds me of her.

Yes. I was one of those wackdoodles that used to want like 10 children no lie. But I have always loved kids. Our plan now is to have 3 and adopt the last one. But next baby won't be for 3-4 years probably.

McKenna is my last name.. and I am more fond of it than my first name lol I think the name is beautiful for a little girl!
That's tough, too...I think that freezing to death would be a long process but burning would be relatively quick? Leo looked pretty peaceful in Titanic when he died...I'll take freeze to death. Thinking of burning skin gives me the chills.

Oh yes! And I have a nephew who is 2 1/2.. is it wrong to have more than one ring bearer?! I don't know these things.
My favorite childhood memory was our 2 week vacation every year to Sea Isle City, New Jersey. Doesn't sound like a dream destination but it had everything we wanted. We went with my family (Mom, Dad & us 4 kids) and my Aunt & Uncle and their 4 kids. We always got a huge house right on the beach and just had so much fun together each year. I hope to give Kylie such fun memories with her cousins as she grows up.
