I think AF may not be far behind (pg, shower mentioned) longish vent

So, every little thing today has had me close to tears. Then I talked to a friend that is having her shower on Sunday, I am happy for her because her and her DH have been trying  to get pg for the 12 years they have been together! She also has had one loss. So her MIL told them not to worry that she would take care of her nursery furniture and her it is 3 weeks til the due date and she still has not gotten it! Not to mention, MIL has been a pain in side since the minute she found out about the pregnancy! Then her DH is not helping her get the spare room cleaned out for the nursery. She just broke down on the phone and so did I. So, even though I already got her shower gift I went and bought her a pack-n-play with a built in bassinet so the baby could have something in case she comes early! The whole time I was walking around walmart with this thing in my buggy I was so close to tears that strangers looked at me funny. Then the cashier was asking about these fingerling potatoes I was buying and how one would prepare them and a few tears were welling in my eyes! Oh lord I hope I can make it through her shower, I thought I'd be okay because I am genuinly(sp?) happy for her! Sorry if this is long and confusing I just had to get it out...Thanks...

    You are so sweet for taking care of your friend even though you're going through a rough time.  I know this has to be really, really hard on you.  I hope that your friend's MIL and DH snap to pronto.  She doesn't need to be dealing with this stuff now - poor thing.  I also hope that the shower goes smoothly for you.  You are a wonderful friend, I hope she realizes the treasure she has!  ((BIG HUGS))

    Hugs I have a freind who just gave birth to twins and another freind who is due in June. I am sometimes jelous that they are having healthy babies. I am really happy for them also. It is easy to get jelous of what other people have when you want the same thing. Hugs.

    Thanks ladies. She is such a sweet person so it is not hard to be a good friend to her. I have been friends with her and her DH since highschool. I hope they pull it together for her too. I just hope I don't cry during the shower...haappy or sad tears. I just feel so emotional.
