A little salt won't kill her right?

I gave Asha some (1-2 oz) of my salty fast food mashed potatoes before I realized how salty they were. I know that salt is bad for their kidneys and for the most part she gets little or none. A few bites of salty food here and there is ok - like it won't damage her right?

    I am pretty sure she is fine!  I really can't imagine how 1-2 oz of salty food would do her in.  Plus, we do need some salt in our systems!

    Have you ever looked at the sodium content in jarred baby food?  I'm sure she'll be fine!!

    She'll be fine.  In general, don't add extra salt, but no harm in some salty mashed taters.

    Hmmm - no, I just thought all jarred food was salt free - at least it's not listed among the ingredients.

    The jarred foods I used didn't have salt either.

    I am sure she will be fine.

    We are using gerber select & earths best and neither have salt. I've never heard of salt in baby food...interesting!

    Yeah, it's not listed as ingredient in anything I've used either.
