Help: Nursery Progress-PIP

Please give me your opinions on the progress so far. The painter is coming back on Monday to finish and I am not sure if I like the tree. I LOVE the chair rail she painted. The colors on the big ornament balls don't match, she will redo the colors. Is the tree too big or distracting or does it look good?

She still has the base of the tree to do under the chair rail and she has to finish the tops of the branches on the corner. It also continues a bit on the other side of a window (she hasn't painted it yet).

I am considering telling her I want to paint the base coat over it and just have the chair rail. Opinions needed!!!!

I would leave it--I absolutely adore it!

At the very least, leave it and see if it grows on you. A few months from now if you still don't like it, then paint over it then.

I think that tree is AWESOME so far, not overpowering at all, I'm jealous, it looks very cool and unique.

I like it! I think it's always overwhelming when you see a room painted before it's all "put together" with the furniture, accessories, etc. I love how it gives the room personality!

If it's any help, I'm an interior designer...hehe.

I agree....I love the chair rail and the tree, it's very unique and goes with the bedding without being to matchy-matchy. ?My vote is to keep it, and like the pp said, if it doesn't grow on you, you can always paint over it.

I think it's awesome. I was planning on painting a Japanese cherry tree on the wall if it had been a girl, and it would have been kind of like this. I think once we move and Seth has his own room I'll do a koi fish mural or something.
