Sort of fancy (NBR - fingernails)

I bought these Sally Hansen Nail Effects things yesterday...pattern obviously chosen by my 5 year old DD. Not sure how I feel about them, but they seem pretty "stuck" to my fingernails...so I can say that they hold up through opening juice boxes, digging through craft room boxes, tying LO shoes and prying jean buttons closed.

My fingers are so swollen! Sausage fingers...mmmm. Pass the 'kraut.

    Mine are just boring french gel, I'm thinking 3, maybe 4 more weeks and they'll be coming off...

    I have been thinking of doing my nails since I am on bedrest. I can't have them done nicely while at work (L&D nurse) so I guess this would be the time to take advantage!

    I have super short nails that aren't strong enough to grow longer than fingertip length. My nails are so soft that polish never lasts more than 2-3 days, so I repaint all the time.  :)  (Ok, ok, maybe I'm a polish junkie, too.) Right now I have on a bright teal-ish color I get from Target (Sinful Colors brand - cheap & fun colors!).

    Just a french manicure (just polish, no falsies here!) - from my mani/pedi on last Saturday! It was an amazing hour! Massages to my legs, feet, back(massage chair) and hands.  I could have melted right there!  And then we had the most amazing stromboli at the pizza place next door!  Why can't every weekend be like that???

    Cute, mine are silver shimmery. DH said I need to cut them before baby comes, they aren't rediculously long or anything, they barely go past my finger tips.

    Do I really have to?

    those are fun! Mine are usually SHORT and buffed, so not fancy at all, and covered in paint and crafty stuff :)

    If only I worked with glitter more!

    Cute!  I was enjoying my nice, strong nails (so unlike me normally) but half of them broke moving furniture around last week.  I am hoping to use my mani/pedi groupon in two weeks, so I have pretty nails for maternity pics.

    I'm getting mine done Saturday with a friend from work. SO excited! Hoping they don't break or chip before then (I work with children and wash my hands ALOT so my nails are always breaking)
