First and foremost, THANK YOU all for your overwhelming support and love. You are the best.
So here's the dilly: the baby is fine. Measuring on time (weighs 1lb 3oz) and has a great hb. The cervix is closed and tight (4.15 cm). The placenta looks great, no tears, etc. However, since there are no visible clots, or sources of blood, they assume that the placenta is causing the bleeding. We haven't had sex within a pertinent time frame and I have not strained during a BM. The MFM Dr. said that the cramps were caused by the blood in my uterus.
The best case scenario: this is an isolated incident and we live happily ever after.
Meh case: it keeps happening.
Worst case (but Dr. said unlikely): it leads to a hemorrhage.
For now, I am on strict bed rest until Monday and pelvic rest until further notice. I have to follow up with my OB in her office on Monday. I also have to see a MFM a few more times before the baby comes.
Off to bed now. . Thanks again, ladies.
Re: I'm home--update to earlier

Definitely hoping for the best case scenario for you! GL with your bedrest & hope you get great news at your follow-up appointment on Monday!
