if a restroom only has sanitizer I'll use it, but rinse afterwards. i can't stand the feel or smell of that crap.

i have never, ever once used sanitizer on a cart. the whole idea is idiotic. Are you picking up chicken and putting it in the cart on the counter for the cashier? back into the cart? then touching baby or cart cover? Are you directly touching any other item int he store that someone else may have touched who came into contact with raw chicken? After this are you touching your cart cover?

Obviously it is better not to toss a kid in the back of a pickup truck, but I am seriously not going to start making extra double sure I "sanitize" my freaking shopping cart in case, god forbid, my little precious touches it. She touches a million things a day - kids need to come in contact with germs and bacteria or they will be miserably, sickly adults.
