Talk to me about "the dougie"

So the video of Kate Upton doing "the dougie" is a big deal. I listen to Cocktails w/ Patrick every day on Sirius/XM and he LOVES her (I had no idea who she was). So I watch the video.... where did this dance come from? Am I just old and totally out of the loop?

    I  have no idea who any of those people are, or what "the dougie" is.  Does that make you feel better?

    So, that Bruno MArs song where he's lazy and doesn't want to do anything and he talks about turning on the TV so they can teach him how to "dougie" that's what it's all about?

    oh, and I have no idea who they are, what the song is or what "the dougie" is either. But Google is my friend and Im going to go visit it right now.

    Its a spin off a type of dance Doug E Fresh used to do. Cali Swag District made a song "Teach Me How to Dougie" and it sort of exploded from there. Its popular at football games and the like because people can do it in crowds and look ridiculous together.

    Look up videos of the song, there are some great ones of people dressed as cartoon characters doing it. I have no idea why, but its great.

    Two of our July 11 mommas already had their babies around 24 weeks, one had twins. All three babies are fighting it out in the NICU.

    it's an annoying song/dance from Cali. They play it everywhere. DH drives me crazy because he knows it annoys me and will put it on.
