I am new to this site and new to this symptom. With my angel baby, I had no symptoms until week 7 then it was just nausea. I never had cramping until just before the mc. So now I am extremely paranoid and wanting to be excited but too scared. Friends and family are telling me that cramping is normal and I have read some information that says so too. But does it ever go away? Does is only last first trimester or is this something I have to deal with my whole pregnancy??
Thank you bunches,
Laura
Re: When does the cramping stop?
I had cramping throughout the first pregnancy. It was not bad. I did end up miscarrying, but I bled 24 hours before cramping.
I went for my first appt. for this pregnancy today and she said cramping is totally normal unless it is severe.
I have heard that water can help with cramping. try that!
I dont know how far along you are but I am 12wks now and crampy/achy all the time, its mostly just growing pains. My Dr told me to expect them between weeks 8-12 because the baby has a big growth spurt and in turn so does your uterus!
Drink lots of water, and don't stress (I know its hard) but remember there is a lot going on inside and some cramping can just be a sign that your baby growing
H&H 9 months to you!
Wow we are pretty much the same! Except the nausea, you poor Mommy
I had some heavier cramping with my current pregnancy. I am 12 weeks now and they've pretty much stopped. With my first son I don't recall cramping like this, but all pregnancies are different right?
Try not to worry though, it is normal. I know it is hard, I had a miscarriage last year so I am pretty paranoid myself. Hang in there! Happy healthy thoughts to you!
