BEST way to lose the belly "pouch"

I had my girls 18mos ago and my abs are SO stretched out that i still have a lil pouch. what are the BEST excersises to do to tighten them back up?

  • Crap! The way you titled your post, I thought you had the answer to that question. I only had 1 DS 5 months ago but I carried him low and now I've got a pooch. I would covet any advice you get.

  • You may not ever completely lose the pouch, but I would suggest exercises that target that your core.  One of my favorites is the plank - it focuses on the transverse abdominals which are the deepest layer of muscle on your abs.  That way, you'll be strengthening your stomach area from the inside out.

    Also, do you run?  I have had amazing results from adding running into my workout routine.  It's really helped to shape my waistline and while I still have a little loose skin, it is 100 times better than it was before I started running.

    Consider evaluating your diet as well.  Eliminating processed foods will definitely help with digestion and eliminate that "bloated" look and feel that people frequently complain about.

  • Not sure since my LO was small and didn't stretch me much but OMG your girls are GORGEOUS!!!
  • If the pouch is just skin, the only way to lose that is a tummy tuck.  If it is skin and fat, abs are made in the kitchen.  Cut out processed, refined white stuff - flour, sugar, etc.
