I guess I think that my son might not remember it but I will. I dont see the need to spend a ton money. I figure he will use the basket for years to come and I will fill his with, a thing of puffs, a couple books, a stuffed lamb and a little toy of some sort.

Absolutely! I ordered her Easter basket in January and have been picking stuff up to fill it with ever since (I definitely should have gotten a bigger one). I can't wait until she's old enough to hunt Easter eggs!!!
I voted no. We didn't do any Christmas gifts either (go ahead, flame away). He got a boatload from family though and I'm sure G-Ma & G-Pa will get him something.
SS. We don't have much money to spend on Easter since we just paid a lot of the hospital bill off. I want to get her an "old-fashion" looking Easter basket with a personalized liner, but that will be for next year. This year I am going to try to get her a dress I seen online and get 6 month pictures done, as well as a family photo.

I haven't decided yet either...my Mom has already gotten him an Easter basket and has already started filling it. I would love to get him a basket that he'll be able to use for years but the ones I liked at Pottery Barn Kids are all sold out. Maybe I'll wait til next year to buy him a nice one.
I bought the PBK basket and liner. It was stupid expensive, but I'll use it for the next 20 years (seriously, I'm 31 and my mom will NOT be doing an Easter basket for me for the first year ever because she is doing one for DD. Easter baskets are BFD with my family). I did only buy stuff she needed to put in.
PS- JKATS Tar Heels basket is super freakin' cute.
I'm having a difficult time finding a basket that I like. I may wait til next year to get him the basket. We already bought him swim stuff, and he would get change inside his plastic eggs if we decide to get him a basket this year.
I also had a difficult time finding him a stocking for Christmas. We got ours from LL Bean (I think) and they just weren't that cute this year. I ended up buying him a generic one from BrUs.
We love family traditions and of course will be doing one for Luke each year. So he is getting one this year. I already have it made. Two bunny dolls. 5 board books (3 of which are about the true meaning of Easter), a rattle thingy, a toy horse you can pull, foam alphabet and number set for the bath, sports themed easter eggs, and a bunch of bath toys. It seems like alot but it all fits in a small basket and dint cost much! Im excited! Its not for a photo opp though. Just because we want to
Re: Poll: Easter Baskets (clicky, of course)
SS
I'm just getting him a basket to convince DD the Easter bunny has come. He's getting practical things though.
Bar tab = $156,000, Bus to Foxwoods = $0, Puking in the Stanley Cup = Priceless
I got R the cutest little Tar Heel easter basket with his name on it-we plan to reuse it every year.
It's filled with formular and baby food!
