I'm usually not one to write CD1 whiny posts...but I'm honestly on the verge of tears right now.
My period is so freakin heavy! I just went through a super tampon, ruined my underwear, blood is soaked on the crotch of my pants (thank god they're black), and now I'm wearing this noisy crunchy when I walk maxi pad to try and soak some of it up. And I'm at work and have to feel gross like this the rest of the day.
Like it's not enough of a slap in the face to get your period....but then to have it SO heavy....this sucks!
Not every cycle is like this though....I've only had this a few times. But I'm wondering if it's a side effect of the Clomid. Has anyone experienced this?

Cant tell you if that is a side effect of clomid or not since I just started mine yesterday. But I do have heavy periods some times and can totally understand your frustrations. ((huge hugs)) Hope you day gets better!
I would do this but I made lunch plans today with some girls from work and I hate to cancel on them.

2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
Is there any way you can run home and change your pants?! Bad enough she shows up and to be such a b!tch on top of it....ugh! I hope your day gets better!

So sorry you are dealing with that
My Clomid periods were a little heavier, but not that bad. The part for me that was way worse was the cramping before the period started. I have had those kind before, though, and I know how much it sucks! Hopefully it is only for a little while and gets lighter by later today for you.

LMJ...I am sorry for your horrible AF!
I was reading your story on the siggy. Are you currently doing Clomid only or Clomid with IUI. I was considering doing Clomid only before doing it with IUI but RE is not agreeing that that would be good. We are going to see a urologist for DH next week. Just looking to see if anyone else tried the fertility drugs without IUI first?
We are currently doing Clomid without IUI. I don't have any fertility coverage on my insurance so if I wanted to do IUI's they would be out of pocket. We just aren't ready to take that step yet.
I know how you feel. My period is like that every month. I use Super Plus tampons AND either overnight or super maxi pads, with wings. I buy cheapo crappy undies that I can ruin without worrying. I then ride it out with the diaper feeling.
Just remember, when you feel like you've hit rock bottom, you can only go up from here! And you're never alone
We aren't either. We have been trying for 10 months. I had all tests done and mine were all normal. Dh has morph of 4% and concentration of 17mm otherwise all else is good. RE wanted us to go straight to IUI for 3 months and IVF with ICSI after that but we were not ready. She made it seem that our chances are very low and we felt defeated but are still hopeful we can do it on our own. I think we will continue a few more months and then decide to do drugs first maybe. Its tough though when AF shows month after month. Thanks for sharing your info with me. GL to you!
Thanks for sharing your's with me! Going to IUI and IVF's is such a big decision. I'm not sure we'll ever go to IVF. We might try IUI's later on down the road...but IVF is just so expensive....with no real guarantee of a baby. In my opinion, I would rather spend that money on adoption and be guaranteed a baby.
GL with your decisions!!! I hope that pregnancy will come to you without too much trouble:)
this. hang in there, so sorry.

I'm about to start my first clomid cycle period, but if the cramps are any indication, I am willing to bet mine is going to be heavy too. I am so sorry. Big hugs and I am really bummed you are on CD 1.
ETA: Holy crap, I just went to the bathroom and I believe my uterus fell into the toilet!
I definitely think this is either the clomid or progesterone.
