Talk to me about JC Penny crib quality

I realize I am like a month+ behind most of you but we're finally going to order our nursery furniture now.

I remember a lot of people talking about ordering from JCPenny - so we checked their stuff online. We found a set we like but it's not available in store so there's no way to 'feel' it to see the quality and overall sturdiness.

Have the people that got furniture from JCP been happy with the quality?

    We bought DS's set from JC Penney's last time and we still love it. It has definitely stood the test (especially with him being a toddler now!) Great quality and I remember it was super fast shipping too. I reccommend them.

    My BIL and SIL seem to really like the quality of their crib from there. They got the whole bedroom set (dresser w/ changing table, taller dresser and crib).

    We ordered a set online when I was pregnant with DD.  We used it from 4months until now.  DH took off one side & converted it to a toddler bed for DD a few weeks ago & it's still working great for us.  It still looks pretty much brand new & we will be using it again for this LO.

    We weren't able to see it IRL either until we had already ordered it & had it shipped to us.  But I love it!

    We bought the Tori collection and other than the PITA stickers they've plastered all over the darn thing, we're extremely pleased with the quality of the entire set.

    We got the Hartford collection, by Rockland.  We really like it.  Hubby put the crib together the other night (and like you, we had to order sight unseen) and I was really impressed with it. 

    We have a dresser/changer and an additonal dresser (we ordered the set) so far one dresser is together.  It is really nice as well.

    My only complaint...the directions aren't completely accurate...we had to do the rails opposite of what they said, and the sides of the crib opposite of what the directions said...so, just take that into account.

    We used a JCP crib for my 3.5 year son and were very happy with the quality.  We will be using the same crib for this little one.  We also have the changing table/dresser that we're happy with too.

    We got our set from there, it is the Dylan by Bedford Baby (we also bought the matching dresser).  It is beautiful and solid wood and seems very sturdy, it looks far better than anything I have seen at BRU or Target IMO.

    We also got the Tori set in Espresso.  I love the quality, but could do without the stickers!

    We bought the Tribeca set in chocolate mist and it is beautiful. The crib is sturdy and feels like it's great quality. We did have some problems with the delivery of the furniture. Crib arrived scratched and dresser was all smashed up. They brought new stuff after a few weeks and the crib was perfect but they brought the wrong dresser. So after waiting another 3 weeks, they are finally going to deliver the new dresser tomorrow. We ordered this furniture in January and we are just getting the last piece now which is kind of ridiculous. I hope it works out for you....I would order asap!!!
