  • When TTC is is better to BD every day or every other day? From what I read on here, people seem to do both!

If your husband has no known issues, it's fine to do either one.

  • If there are no known sperm issues the ED is fine. However many say EOD is better so the troops can replenish (and your vag doesn't fall off)

  • If you can't do ED for illness or something of the sort, don't freak out though.  EOD in your fertile window is still ok, not ideal but still a good chance! GL

Why not?  Technically, it only takes one sperm on 1 sexual encounter.  If I'm fertile for say 6 days and have sex on 3 of those, why is that "not ideal"

Actually EOD is still considered good timing, even in your fertile window. And if there is any sort of sperm issue, it's actually BETTER than ED.

  • After watching "The Great Sperm Race" I've had a different perspective on a lot of TTC stuff.  However, I am still new to the community aspect of TTC, so PP, it's better to listen to what the other ladies are saying.

Illness, change in meds, change in sleep can all change O. Or sometimes you can just have an off cycle. I hope you O soon!

It's best to temp at the same time each morning- not more than 30 minutes from your "default" temp time. You should temp right when you wake up before getting up or moving around a lot. That will help you get the most consistent temps.

If it's 30 minutes before you're supposed to temp, then take it and don't worry about it. If it's more than 30 minutes, mark the different time.

You can temp within an hour of your 'normal' time and still be okay. For example, if you temp at 7 am normally, you can temp at 6:30 or 7:30 and fertility friend says it's oooookay!

    Ok!

I can't wait to start temping!  I seriously want to do it even though I'm on the pill just to "practice"  I feel like I did when I really wanted a training bra before I had boobies.

  • I feel sorta stupid asking this, but could I get a quick chart stalk? I only started temping a week or so ago, but I think I O'd earlier than my CHs indicate bc I had a nice temp dip on CD 17. CHs appeared first on CD 18 then moved to CD 19 when I entered today's temp. WDYT?

No.  I, personally, would get testing done through your OB/GYN and go from there.  Plus, why go to an RE if you aren;t willing to do testing for another 3+ months?

I would maybe ask for a plan if you reach cycle 12 (or July) but wouldn't go further than that.  Good luck!

I think it will depend on your next few temps. If your temps stay up, you could get CH's, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are dotted because of the lack of CM.

And PS- I love your wedding pic!

I think your temps are moving in the right direction for CD15 to be your O date but FF is going to be slow to give you CH's because your pre-dip temps are so high unless they really start climbing the next couple of days.

Hmmm, I wouldn't think so, since during that time your lining is being shed and the egg would nee to implant to that lining.  If the bleeding continues for much longer, I'd be calling your OB/GYN.  How heavy is the bleeding?

That's what's so weird to me, I have the same routine as usual (work, travel, sleep, no major life changing event or anything) and this cycle has just been crazy. I've had mid-cylce spotting which is a first for me, temps kinda all over the place, so I'm not really sure what's going on. I guess this is just one of those off cycles.

    Thanks!

  • The CBEFM says that if your period starts after your normal testing window (test between 5 - 10am, period starts 4pm) then set the monitor for CD1 the next morning. I need to get b/w done on CD3 and my period start this afternoon (finally yay!) So my question is this: do I use what the CBEFM calls CD3 which would be Friday or call this CD1 and get the b/w done on Thursday?   TIA!

Some girls use Evening Prim Rose Oil too. Check the Noob link- there may be other suggestions as to how to increase it. Also mine increased over time- I got none when I first came off BC and now (a year later- hopefully it won't be that long for you) I get a ton of it. So it may get better over time.

It's spotting to light/medium the last couple of days.  Hasn't been what I consider medium/heavy since Friday.  I basically spot all day and then pass globs/not quite clots in the afternoon and evening.

I called my OB yesterday and she had her nurse call back advising that I either take Provera or wait it out.  I was hoping I could wait it out but if the fact of the matter is my O is worthless right now, then I am afraid the Provera is my only option.

CD 3 bloodwork can usually be done CD 2-4. I'd call your doctor though and ask them what they'd consider CD 1. Good luck!
