Hey Kiersten, she is doing fine. Thanks for asking. The bruise on her gum already looks much better. And she ate corn on the cob with her dinner, so I guess it doesn't hurt too badly, haha! I took her to the dentist yesterday, and he said it doesn't look like she'll have any nerve damage, but we'll just have to wait and see. Hoping for no dead teeth!!
How is Allison?? Poor thing!!
Good to hear, I am sure you are relieved to hear that.
Hoping Allison is okay. She always seems to have these pretty severe respiratory type issues. Since she had pneumonia twice last Fall I get a little anxious and like to take action immediately. I was going to brush it off as allergies but literally in about 2 hours her breathing got really bad and could tell it her throat was getting swollen and she constantly was pointing to her mouth saying it hurt which she never does even with strep.
So they took x-ray, gave her a steroid, a breathing treatment and monitored her. She vomited all over everything, clothes, bed, floor - about 2 hours into the visit and just looked pathetic. I felt so bad for her.
She seems to be doing better now. Thanks for asking. I am just ready for all of the doctor appointments to be over. Elliott has another dentist appointment today too.
Oh no! Poor Allison! Caroline had croup last year, and it was awful, but it sounds like it wasn't nearly as bad as what Allison has. There is nothing that makes you feel so helpless as when your baby is sick. :-(
I hope you guys can get some rest today and that Allison feels better soon.
