Hi ladies, at wholesomebabyfoods they advise to freeze cooked and not pureed i think? what's your experience on this? i made the mistake of forgetting to read about the freezing chart in that website and i just made one week's worth of fish and chicken puree and i froze it in ice cubes. i dont want it to go to waste

TIA
Re: do you freeze pureed meats?
I freeze them. So far I've made two meat dinner meals.
Chicken with sweet potato and apple (pureed and froze in cubes)
Chicken with butternut squash and leek (also pureed and froze)
They've turned out great! I bought the book "100 Baby Food puree's" by Annabel Karmel, and it lists things to make and whether or not they are "freezer safe" or not. So far we've had no problems!!!!
I do recommend freezing it 'in something' like sweet potatoe or squash to give it a better texture. Other than that, no worries!
You both have beautiful babies!
Yes, I freeze pureed chicken and pork roast. It's thinned out pretty good with water. When served, I mix it with veggies or fruit, because yeah, they hate the texture of it alone. Good luck. I haven't tackled fish. I should.
Thank you. i feel bad i froze it as is. as in pureed meat only
i hope shell like it
super thanks!
