If you're going back to work, what do you plan on doing for daycare? I have no clue. Right now I am gone 12 hours a day at work, I need to find a new job as soon as I get back from having the baby. I am hoping to transfer and then find a daycare that is on the way to work for me and school for DH (which would be the same direction, right now we are in opposite directions).
Is this your first pregnancy? No. I was pregnant last July but we lost that PG early.
How old are you and DH? I'm 35. DH is 41.

I will go back to work but I may go only 4 days a week and DH will do the same as well. Right now we're looking into a child care center part time for our LO, something with structure and a philosophy like Montessori.

Long story: trying on our own + testing testing testing with 6 rounds of Clomid, more testing, injectables + TI, laparoscopy - one tube blocked, 2 IUIs with Follistim...BFNs.
RPL testing all normal, Karyotyping normal
Moving on to IVF.
IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy
Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.
Beta 9dp5dt = 181, 11dp5dt = 427. 1st u/s showed a healthy heartbeat! EDD 2/16/14
After 4 years of hoping and heartbreak, our sweet little bean was born on 2/19/14

Do you plan on being a SAHM or are you going back to work after the baby is born? Don't know yet. I want to try to go back to work, but if our finances can handle it and my heart can't handle leaving our LO at a daycare, I'll stay home.
If you're going back to work, what do you plan on doing for daycare? There are several daycares in our neighborhood, so hopefully one of them would be a good fit.

I thought the same thing... 24 here, so still on the younger side! Second munchkin for me tho. First for the hubby!

I work from home, so I may try to have the baby here and work for a while. We could pay all the bills etc on one salary (but not much left over after that), so it may boil down to my tolerance level for the crap that goes on at work, and their flexibility.

Nope. DD is almost 2.
We are both 28.
With DD I realized that the SAHM life is not for me (though I applaud those who do it). DD goes to an awesome in-home daycare provider, so LO 2 will go there too.

This is a tough one, I need to figure out if we can afford daycare or if DH can quit to be SAHD ?? I make the money ( twice what DH makes ) so Its already going to be tough when I am out of work 6 weeks for Maternity leave. I also have MIL and Father who are retired, I am secretly hoping they will volunteer to watch the baby during the week !

Dx: Complete septate uterus with cervical duplication, endometrial polyps, PCOS, endometriosis, hypo thyroid, luteal phase defect
4 uterus surgeries to correct my complete septum and to remove polyps and 2 years of seeing the RE, medicated cycles and IUIs

My miracle baby was born March 5 at 9:33am. He was 8 lbs 12.5 oz and 21.25 inches long!

But I have too. Damn student loans and car payment. We live on a military post and they provide daycare for cheap price so we will be using them.

I am going to be going back to work after a 6 month maternity leave. MH should be able to modify his work schedule so he can have at least one weekday off. For the other days we'll utilize our parents (hopefully, they still don't know I'm pregnant
) and probably a daycare center for 1 or 2 days per week. We still need to fully work out the details.

DH is currently trying to get into graduate school and is waitlisted...if he gets in, we will do daycare. If not, he will probably be a SAHD. I am the breadwinner for now so I will have to go back to work.

I'll go back to work. I like our in-home daycare provider and I hope it works out that she can take this baby too but if not, we'll find something else.
Oh yeah, she can't wait! She'll turn 5 about a month before the baby gets here, and she is very stoked about being a big sister! Up until about a week ago, she refused to accept the idea that it may not be another girl... but now she says she'll be happy either way lol
