Doctor Recs (esp. Military Bumpies!)

My DH is AF Reserves but currently considered active duty since he's in tech school so we switched over to Standard.

Anyway, I'm staring at this big list of providers and would randomly pick one but thought I'd ask over here just in case anyone had a rec for me!

Or for non-military, a few of the practices that I was looking at are Swedish Physicians Group, Edmonds Family Care, and Highline Medical Group if you know a doctor there.

I live in Shoreline but am willing to travel some :)

Thanks!

  • We go to Children's Clinic of South Snohomish County in Edmonds and love it. The doctors and nurses there are very friendly and great with the kids. We go to Dr. R. Thakkar. They also offer a "get to know you" appointment where you can go in and ask all the questions you can think of with the doctor. We are very comfortable there.

  • I don't see them in the directory, do you know if they take Tricare? I should've clarified that it needs to be an in network doctor and we're just in town temporarily so I'm only looking for someone to take the girls to well baby check visits with :)

  • That I don't know. You could try giving them a call and see. We aren't in the military so I don't know anything about military medical, but they (Children's Clinic) do seem to take a lot of different insurances.
