We're excited about pool time this summer, but confused with all the options of 'swim diapers'. What do you guys put your LO's in? Disposable diaper and plastic shorts? Reusable swim pants? Swim diaper and plastic shorts?
The pool where we do swimming lessons (indoors) requires a swim diaper and plastic pants.
I use the Pampers Splashers and then Gerber plastic pants. Some of his swim trunks have a plastic liner built in, so if they do, I skip the plastic pants.
Just remember that swim diapers aren't absorbent, so don't put them on until right before you are about to go swimming.
We haven't gone swimming but I did want to let everyone here know that on Amazon right now they have Pampers Splashers with a 1.50 automatic coupon and if you sign up for subscribe and save you get another $3.30 or so off... for 24 of the size 3-4's it is less than $7 delivered
Kinda late to respond here...but DS just finished a session of parent/tot class. At first we used Huggies Little Swimmers disposables. But midway through the class I ordered iPlay reusable swim dipes and we tried them out and I LOVED them. Ended up buying one more and we'll use them on our upcoming beach vacay.
DD has been wearing Little Swimmers (she takes a swim class), but I recently purchased reusable swim diapers from Buy, Buy, Baby. Once my disposable ones are out, we'll use the reusable ones.
