It totally sucks.
Seems like the only noise she makes now is to cry, scream, or whine.
I miss my cooing baby.
Today she just totally refused to eat all day. I fed her from me at 3 and 6, she took 3 oz at 8, I tried to feed her from me at 10, she just nibbled for 5 minutes. At noon I got her to take 4 oz. At 3 she nibbled on each boob for about 5-6 minutes and did the same at 6. Got her to finally take 5 oz at 7:30.
Bedtime has turned into a fever pitched screaming disaster lately.
She's just so fussy. It seems like the second you put her down, she just starts to fuss, fuss, fuss, and lately even when you hold her she fusses or if you are trying to play with her toys with her she fusses. She never seems content anymore.

Re: My baby has stopped cooing
She does during the night, but during the day she seems distracted and latches on and off on and off. And eventually, after 5 minutes or so just turns her head and looks up at me and refuses to go back one. But she refuses a bottle at these times too.

Have you talked to a lactation consultant? The only reason I say this is because DS didn't latch on at all in the beginning....and when he did..it hurt. But he was very distracted. He ended up being tongue-tied and he was always frustrated latching...so he wouldn't. That's why he would refuse it. It became a battle and we got it fixed ASAP. No problems since.
The only other advice I would have for you...is to talk to your pedi. If she's refusing bottles and breast...then I would be concerned. Especially if it's making her miserable. She's obviously hungry...but doesn't want either bottle nor breast(i know not all the time). Anyways...I HTH!
My pedi is a lactation consultant. She's definitely not tongue tied.
If it keeps up I'll have to call the pedi again. It's very obvious to me that she is hungry, but she just won't eat. It's like a battle of the wills.

Ok that's good! Yea...I just would be concerned because she's may not be getting enough. But even so... your supplementing and she's not wanting that. I'm really sorry your having to go through this...and her too : (. Hopefully your pediatrician will have some answers for you soon : )
