So tell me about yours. I've been hesitant because I love to read and hold and actual book. But sometimes when I want to read at night, Phill gets cranky about the light. So what I am wondering is can you use your Kindle without a light on? That is, do they all have back lights? Also, you have a certain amount of storage on it, but what happens to the books you've purchased when you hit the limit and want to add more? Can you get more storage or does it work like an external and you can throw the old ones onto your computer? I know dumb questions, just asking.

Re: Kindle Owners
The Kindle doesnt actually have backlighting on it because it uses E-Ink which basically looks just like paper so it is easier on your eyes vs. reading on a computer screen. They have said they cant backlight it without distroying that feature. The nice thing is that means there is virtually no glare when you read it outside or under florecent lights. I purchased the book cover that has an LED book light inside it that is actually powered by the Kindle. It is nice and bright but not obtrusive so good for reading in bed.
As for size limits check Amazon's site but I want to say it holds over 1500 books and you can delete them from your Kindle and they will still be on your account on Amazon if you want to redownload them later.
Awesome thanks ladies. I'm looking at the covers now and I can't find the one with the LED light. If you get a chance can you share the link?
I've heard that the Nook is harder to look at for a long period of time. How do you like yours?
here's the link to the cover I have. https://www.amazon.com/Kindle-Lighted-Leather-Display-Generation/dp/B003DZ165W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1301681328&sr=1-1-spell
I don't have the Color- just the regular Nook. It's exactly the same as a Kindle, as far as reading on it goes. I assume the Color would be like always reading on an iPod.
