i'm so proud of DH

He was hanging out with one of his guy friends today. His friend and his wife have 4 year old twins from their 2nd IVF cycle. This friend is basically the only person my DH opens up to about our IF and treatments, so I'm always happy to hear that they talked when they get together. Even if it is only in the very brief male sorta way. This is good because he really refuses to talk about our IF with anyone else but me (including his family).

Anyway, his friend was telling him how they were going to go thru an FET with their one left over embie from their cycle 4 years ago, but sadly they didn't make it to transfer. DH then asked his friend if his wife had any left over meds from the cycle, and if she did, he told him that they should donate them back to their clinic for couples who don't have coverage.

Party!!! (this was my inside my head reaction)

I was driving when he told me, but I wanted to jump up and down and hug him. I was so proud that he thought of this on his own and it means that he has been listening to me when I have been talking about all you ladies and how I had donated my extra meds. Of course I couldn't make a big deal about it cause then he would get annoyed and not talk to me about it anymore.

Anyway, I needed to share because no one else would understand why this made me so happy.

edit: I should mention that his friends have decided not to cycle again since they had their twins, they just didn't want to destroy their frostie and figured they would see what happened.
