Ever seen a pregnant woman jump 10 feet in the air?

This morning around 5:15 I felt something strange, like my skin was being ticked.  Thought nothing of it, dozed back off, and felt it again.  I opened my eyes... and there was a freakin' cockroach walking across my chest.  I went from completely horizontal to standing up 10 feet away by the bedroom door in about .2 seconds, and stood there (butt naked, mind you)  until DH woke up (about 30 seconds later) and asked me what in the hell I was doing.

I freaking hate roaches.

I lived in FL for 13yrs - nothing is worse than the Palmetto bugs!! (FLYING cocroaches!!)

That is not only disgusting but it's tramutizing. I'm surprised you didn't go into labor!! Enjoy a nice, hot shower and hopefully that doesn't happen again!!

  • Ewwwww!  I would have freaked the hell out too.  Bugs don't bother me much, but if they're ON me, especially close to my face, I tend to have that kind of reaction.
  • *shudder* I hate roaches! I lived in Florida for 4 years, and the palmetto bugs were the worst. I joke that they're part of the reason I moved back north!
