I have to obnoxiously AW my wall art here. I'm only about 50% done since the detail will take some time. I can't take credit for the design though, I totally stole it......I mean I was "inspired by" a design I found on a children's wall decal website. So far I love it and should have it finished in another week.

PROJECT BALANCING ACT: BIO and BLOG- yeah... needs to be updated.
Will you come over and paint my nursery for me?
I was going to say the same thing!! Excellent job if you painted that yourself. My art skills are similar to a toddler's so I have to use decals. LOL
No, it's definitely not free hand. I found the image online, copied it onto transparency paper, then projected it onto the wall and traced it in pencil first. I borrowed the overhead projector from a friend who's a 4th grade teacher. So the outline is already on the wall as a guide for me to paint over. Once it's all painted, I'll do some shading and detail. It's really not so hard, just kind of time-consuming. The decal would have cost $180, which is just crazy to me.

it looks fantastic!!
That looks great!
We are doing a tree silhouette, but mine will be a decal because I am not that talented, projected image or not. Good job!
One wall is a very large window and another is taken up by the closet double-doors and the door into the room. So I really just have 2 free walls to work with. I have some framed animal prints in similar colors to the wall art that will go on the opposite wall. I can't wait to put it all together and take more pictures
It looks amazing!! You did a wonderful job!
nice!
I am also painting mine based on a wall decal I found. Hopefully in another week I can start, my nursery is still a storage space.
