Mine too! It was our back up bc we had a funny dance planned but the cd didnt work. So then when the cd was working, we danced it to open the dance floor!
Dark Waltz by Hayley Westenra - my husband is a ballroom dancer so I learned how to do a proper waltz for the wedding. The back of our invites had a quote from the song: "I'll keep you company in one glorious harmony waltzing with destiny forever".

Our first dance was to "Lover's Prayer" by Joe. During our wedding we had each of our friends sing "The Prayer" by Celine Dion and "Flower of Beauty", it was a song DH sung in choir at high school and said he had always pictured his wife coming down the aisle to that song.
During the wedding a surprised my husband by having his good friend come in from Nashville and sing Saved by Love by Chris Knight. He was so shocked! He thought that it was just going to be played since he picked it out. After all the older people left, it turned into a jam session and he loved that!

We chose Can You Feel the Love Tonight, but not the Elton John version. We did the Lion King version, complete with Timon and Pumba complaining and crying about losing their friend (I'm a total Disney nut, and Disney is the only music DH and I really agree on). All our friends thought it was awesome, but I don't think the older crowd was impressed (my mom kept trying to convince me to use the Elton John version instead).
Re: Just for fun (stolen from Sept. 2011)
Dixie Chicken by Little Feat.
It was the first song my husband played for me to introduce me to the music he likes.
Burned by the Bear
Another one of my favorites!
Man! these hormones are kicking my a$$... all of these songs are making me emotional.

Ours was "Love Me" by Elvis but we used the version by Phish and my husband surprised me by singing it to me as we danced...

Oooo good one! Our recessional song was Tonight, Tonight by the Smashing Pumpkins.
Freeze Frame Time by Brandon Rhyder.

We wanted the Death Cab song on our slideshow... but again... a little too morbid.. but such a great song!
Same here!
So many great songs everyone used!
