No. I have heard the causes being genetic, exposure to second hand smoke, teething, colds, lowered immune system but never milk consumption. I have read that BF babies get less ear infections because of the sucking motion but Grace was breastfed for 10 months and has had 9 fafillion ear infections. So I don't even believe that.
I haven't heard that but for some reason I think that I have heard that milk can increase mucus production and maybe that would cause more ear infections. I really don't remember where I read/heard that so I could be completely wrong.
Nope! I guess you're talking about cow's milk. Anyway, LO is BF and had a nasty double ear infection around 10 months that last about 3 weeks, luckily he has not had any others. My mom said I had lots of ear infections as a baby/toddler.

if that were truly the case then dd would have perpetual ear infections .... she LOVES her milk !
Love - a wildly misunderstood although highly desirable malfunction of the heart which weakens the brain, causes the eyes to sparkle, cheeks to glow, blood pressure to rise and the lips to pucker - Author Unknown
Yeah, I havent heard anything about milk causing ear infections, what my doc told us was that using Q-tips was bad, even the baby kind that wont let you put them in to far. He said that Q-tips in general are bad, they dont get the wax out so much as they can push it in farther. Idk if that has anything to do with the infections.

Yes but it is actually an allergy that causes it. See #2 in the link:
