Just a quick recap - I got a bfp with 2 tests on 3/22. Gave a urine sample to the lab (doctor) for testing 03/24. Tested again at home 03/25, resulting in even darker BFP. 03/28 lab urine comes back NEGATIVE. Test again at home 03/28 with a digital, BFP. Went and had bloodwork done 03/28.
So the results of my bloodwork was 620 hCG. Does this seem normal at this stage? The nurse would not really give me a straight answer and I have to go see my doctor to discuss the results this afternoon.
I have still not had any spotting or bleeding since my last period.
Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated as I am feeling a lot of anxiety.
Re: Update on negative Lab Urine Test
p.s. anything over 5 is PREGNANT! so congrats!!!
mine was 32 on 12dpo and 480 on 18dpo....which is lower than a friend of mine, but they doubled every two days, and thats all thats important
Here's a good article about hCG levels:
https://www.americanpregnancy.org/duringpregnancy/hcglevels.html
My OB said that hCG is more about how much it rises (about doubling every 48 hours) than one number.
hCG numbers vary for every woman so your could be great for your pregnnacy as long as they double every 48 hours or so. I dont know if this might help you but at 15 DPO mine was 134 and 17 DPO it was 272. I also had my blood drawn again at 25 DPO and my hCG # was 5000. I hope this helps you out
I agree with what everyone else has said. One draw doesn't tell you anything except that you are pregnant, you need at least two done to see the doubling factor.
I had my first one done at 12dp and it was 174 and had it again at 17dp and it was 1660. I'll have a third one done this Saturday.
The websites that other people told you to look at will show you that the hcg range is huge.
Like PP said you have to see what the elevation of it is like and can't tell much by a single number.
I am close to how far along you are and my hCG was 876 two days ago. I went in again this morning and will get my results later on today.
Sending you good vibes for good news.
