How to switch formulas?

Our pedi recommended switching to Gentlease because Natalie is having lots of gas trouble.  I forgot to ask exactly *how* to switch.  Do I just giver her a Gentlease bottle, or do I need to phase it in somehow?

    We had the same question and called the similac help line.  If you are switching formulas in the same brand there is no need to mix it.  If you are changing brand names for example Similac to Gerber Good Start or etc.  You would want to mix it and slowly take out the formula you are getting off.

    This is what Similac told us to do. 

    We stayed with Similac and just went from the Advanced to the Gas and Fussiness and didn't mix it like suggested and DS had no problems.
