Swim Diapers

What kind do you plan on using? I saw Pampers has some, but they are in size 3 and up.  Huggies has a small size starting at 16 lbs. Maddie is almost in a size 2, so both of these are big for her now.

Re: Swim Diapers

  • Funny, DH and I were just talking about this. Pampers smallest size is 16 libs, too, I think. DD is almost 14 lbs. now. Can't wait to take her in the pool!

  • We bought a Bummis swim diaper, and I was thinking about trying the iPlay brand I saw at Buy Buy Baby.

We use cloth diapers, so our swim diapers will be cloth, too.

I have a gift card for BBB I will have to check those out. I purchased 1 on Friday that was on clearance on-line(along with leg warmers). Shipped the same day, so should be here Mon/Tues!

I didn't buy the one at BBB yet because I heard that Target carried them, but neither Target near me had them.  I'll probably be going back soon to get them. They look like a full swim suit (trunks for boy, I think it was one piece for girl). So it gives more coverage than the Bummis diaper.

  • I bought one of the iPlay swimsuits for DS when they were on Zulily and it does have the built in swim diaper.  I also bought a package of size 3 Huggies swim diapers (off Amazon Mom - super cheap!) for his other swimsuit or in case our pool doesn't acknowledge the built in swim diaper  (apparently some require only a certain kind).
