Consignment Sales

I'm going to my first big consignment sale this week -- Three Bags Full in Hilliard.  I meant to go to Shop Polka Dot Tots last weekend but didn't make it.  Anyone have any experience with these?  What kind of deals can you get?  Just curious as to what I'm in for...

    I haven't been to either, but I'm headed to the Three Bags Full this weekend too. Did you pre-register so you can go on Thursday night instead??

    I did preregister but I'm a little bummed that we probably won't enjoy the benefits of it.  I thought new moms got a little bit more time before the public was admitted, but I guess not.  I'm not sure we'll be able to pick the baby up from school, drop him off with my mom, and get over there before they start admitting everyone else.  :S

    Don't they do a half-off day at the end of the sale or something?  If so, I may go back for that...

    I LOVE three bags full. I consign at the one at the Hartford Fair Grounds every year. My only advice is to bring a stroller or something to put the things that you are buying in. Your hands get full very quickly and you'll most likely wait in line for a long time to checkout. Don't bring your kids! They will be bored to tears by the end, and it's super busy.

    I wish I had read your post about bringing a stroller before we went!  We did make it in for the presale and bought a TON of stuff.  Lots of 6-9 and 9-12 clothes, and also a ton of Melissa & Doug toys (we're big on the wooden toys).  We had trouble carrying it all!  :)  I feel like I got a great deal on some of the clothes.  I may go to the one in Croton/Johnstown and the one in Delaware!

    When and where are these? I live in lewis center and have never heard of any of them!

    I personally don't think these are all that. We went to polka dots and we did find a few items but I think for the most part the clothes is very worn out some with stains and stuff like that. I went to the one in Delaware last year and I was very very disappointed, but I guess it is also a matter of what you are looking for.
