out-of-town bumpie needs bakery recc

Hi-

We are going to be celebrating Easter and my DS's first b-day w/ my in-laws in Nassau County- my MIL wants to get a cake.  I am super picky about what my kids eat though and all of the cakes she has ever had have been gross w/ nasty technicolor icing.

Can anyone recc'd a bakery that makes good cakes with real buttercream icing?

Is there a whole foods anywhere in Nassau County?

  • I put in my zip code, because I don't know any Nassau zips, but here are the results I got from wholefoods.com https://wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/store-list/?zipcode=11727&source=header&x=0&y=0

  • Thanks- the one in Jericho isn't too far from my ILs. I will call and see if they have a bakery- our WF does, but I don't know if all of them do.
