it wont be the same for everyone... most likely you will see a gestational sac with maybe a yolksac and possibly a fetal pole depending on how high your hcg is...
I just had an ultrasound and we saw a gest. sac as well as a yolk sac but the tech didnt really look for the fetal pole. She was really doing the ultrasound to check on my cyst. Is it normal to sometimes not see a fetal pole this early?
I went in at 5w2d and saw just a gest sac - nothing else. Then I went back at 7w3d and saw the baby and a heartbeat.
In my bag: Nikon D90; 35mm 1.8, 90mm 2.8 macro (my fave), Lensbaby Composer with macro extensions. BFP after 13 cycles and one ectopic. Lost left tube 5/19/10.
At 5w5d we saw the gestational sac, yolk sac,and the tech saw a fetal pole The only thing i could make out was the sac....lol The fetal pole was too small for me to see but the tech saw it.
