Special Needs

**JoJoGee**

The answer to your question is, yes, it is possible to feel like a "normal" family.  :)  I get more joy from staying at home and playing with my kids or watching them play with each other than I ever imagined I could.  Everything that we have gone through has made us all so much more grateful for what we have.  I often make the joke that we look like we're going camping every time we leave the house (because of all of the medical equipment that we take along) but that only bothers you for a little while.  Also the amount of "stuff" that we have to take has been cut back to very little over time.

I hope that your little girl doesn't need a trach but I know that you will do just fine if she does.  Best of luck!
