Brown spit up

LO has had a rough day! She woke up this morning and her spit up was brown...the next four times she spit up it was brown. She spits up quite often because she has reflux and she's on Zantac to control it, but it's never been brown. I went to the pedi and brought the burp cloth with me. They looked at it and said it looked like she was spitting up blood. So they sent her to the childrens medical hospital for an ultrasound. That came back normal. So now she has to go see a specialist Has anyone else experienced anything like this with their LO?
