We are in our first medicated cycle and my 7dpo p4 came back at a 7. (Clomid/Ovidrel). She said she would give me supps in case then if we got a neg hpt after the weekend to stop, but she also said not taking them wouldn't necessarily harm anything if we were pregnant, and we could wait and see what happens over the weekend. I don't really want to take the supps and delay AF if she is going to rear her ugly head. Anyone have experience with this?
(next time she says she will start supps right after O).
While I am disappointed that it looks like this cycle is a bust, I'm most upset because before I had the girls I wasn't doing ANYTHING on my own - it took 150mg of clomid just to get me to O and I wasn't getting AF or anything on my own. After the girls I have had periods on my own and getting pos OPKs so I thought my body had righted itself, but now it appears I am still having issues. I just thought maybe I wouldn't have to do all this again. Sorry to vent - just don't know who else to tell that would understand. All my friends either got bfps on their own naturally or haven't had any bfps yet and just don't understand. Plus our insurance dropped any infertility coverage as of 1/1 so this is all OOP now. Grrrr. Thanks for listening. Any thoughts/advice is always welcome by anyone.
Re: low progesterone -what would you do?
If they suggested supps I personally would take them because I would always wonder 'what if?' if I didn't try them... AF shouldn't be too delayed either by them.
good luck with your decision...and with your results!

Thanks ladies, I appreciate all of your thoughts.
Yes, my girls were from the 150 Clomid. I had a m/c my first round of 50, then we did 50 twice more, then 100, all with no O. The first time on 150 I O'd and it was blessedly a success!
