I got "taken" on craigslist....

We wanted to get DD a Jeep stroller and I saw one posted on CL. It was a 2008 model for $100 and said "barely used". So I offered $75 and she took it and the stroller looked okay when we picked it up. Well, I go to use it today and the wood board that supports the child in the back is broken in half, so you cannot change the seating position. Bascially the child can lay down, but not sit up. So, I have emailed her about this and no reply. I'm so mad.....but don't know what else I can really do. How could a mother with kids do something like that, knowing it was broken? I could never sell someone something under false pretenses. Sorry...I just had to get my vent out.

    Oh geez.  CL can royally suck.  You are so at their mercy.  I like ebay for the protection, but I hate paying shipping.  There really isn't much you can do unless she replies.  I bet she knew.   She is a silly beyotch.  I feel your pain.

    No such luck on getting a response which tells me she probably knew it was broken. :(

    I havent tried contacting them yet. DH is going to try and work some magic on it first. I really hope he can fix it because I do love the stroller.
