That hasn't bought anything for baby yet?
I was just looking at the furniture post below and saw how many people have ordered or already have their furniture, and it sort of made me realize that DH and I haven't bought a single baby item yet. I can't be the only one.
The only new furniture we're buying is a rocker or glider, which we're planning to register for (it'll be the only really big, expensive thing on our registry, and we're hoping that our parents will get it for us). Our crib (and changing table if we want it, but I'm still not sure I want one at all) is coming from my bro and SIL, and we're refinishing an old dresser that we already have. But we haven't bought anything at all - no clothes, no books, no nothing. I just feel like it's still so early . . . Is that weird?

NO, not at all. If it wasn't for my mom buyng most of the stuff or telling me about some of the good deals then we wouldn't have bought anything yet either. But, can't pass up a good deal;)
Good purchase on the STL onesie!
No I think that's pretty normal. We bought bedding this weekend and that's the only thing we've purchased and that was a really big step for me. Even being 18 weeks next weekend still seems early to me at times to be buying the big stuff, but I know DH is excited and I don't want my paranoia to hold him back.

Now after we find out what we're having..? DH is gonna kill me, lol
Same here! All we've purchased is the crib b/c of the good deal. My mom and grandma have been buying small gender-neutral things like baby socks and stuff, just b/c they're excited
We have not bought anything, researched anything, or registered for anything yet. We will probably start all that after the anatomy scan.
I got yelled at by my parents because I bought a pack of Gerber cloth diapers to use as burp cloths! I was told to wait until after my shower.
Furniture is the only thing we will probably buy for a loooong time and we aren't even buying it!

The only thing we bought was some wall decorations for the nursey when we were in Honduras (a sun and two butterflies made from scrap metal). We're waiting for everything else until after we find out what we're having.

We haven't bought anything either. I haven't even looked at baby stuff yet. I want to wait until I'm a bit further along till I actually start buying things.
Oh, wait...I bought a blow up pool since our house doesn't have AC and I'll be giant sized by the time it gets hot.
You are not alone. I haven't bought 1 single baby item yet.
I know I'll need to do it eventually but the idea of having to research cribs, carseats, strollers, etc makes my head spin. As for clothes and such I have a feeling my MIL, the showers, and hand me downs will take care of us on that end.

Nothing in my house yet either! I techincally ordered two outfits from zulily but they won't arrive for a while.
Other than a baby book for DH, I haven't bought one thing yet.
I bought a little Red Wings outfit and two cloth diapers. My sis got us a little onesie and a stuffed giraffe. That is it as far as baby stuff in my house.
We may pick up a dresser soon but that is because we'll be out near IKEA visiting MIL and who knows the next time we'll be out that way. I almost ordered a crib last night from JCP but wussed out before hitting the checkout button.

The only thing baby related in my house right now will be gone after we give it to the mommy-to-be at her shower this weekend. I guess I'll kick it into high gear at some point
Only 1 thing has been bought at all and that's just a small stuffed elephant my niece wanted to buy the baby the other day.
We haven't bought anything yet either. It has been hard... I've seen stuff that I like but I'm scared once I find out the sex I will change my mind.
Right now any shopping we do is more for ideas, see what is out there. We're also moving into our new house the end of April. DH dosen't want to move things twice. Come May & I will know the sex in May this Mama bear will be shopping like crazy!!
