  Dh's best friend just named his son this. So anticlimactic because they were very secretive about the name! I was hoping because it would be something awesome or at least interesting but it's a big wop-wop from me

  Funny thing is FOUR people already posted on his facebook wall something along the lines of "love your name choice, my son/nephew/cousin is Brayden too!" 

  Not too late to change it was my thought

  Eh, at least it's not Braeydyn or something more atrocious

   

  lol, that's funny. I wonder if they thought they were being unique by picking Brayden not knowing how incredibly popular it is.

  Yes, I really think they thought it was super unique 

  I wish they had been more forthcoming so that someone could have steered them gently into a truly unique name if that's what they were after.

  Oh well, if they love it then they love it! I hope they will continue to love it when they find out how incredibly popular it is though

  This reminds me of my brother and SIL. They have Caden picked out and think it's the greatest name ever. They are never around children and have no idea how trendy it is.

  I like Brayden! We're having a girl, so its not really an option for us. I dont know or have ever met anyone named Brayden or Braden or however it's spelled. I guess Seattle is a cave....
