My DH is self-employed so we have saved up enough so that he can also take three months off with me. I feel very lucky!! If he gets new work, he won't turn it down but has already warned his clients that his turnaround will be much slower than usual and they've been fine with that.

My hubby is taking 2 weeks from the day she's born. He's using FMLA to take it and his work isn't too thrilled. He's heard his boss talking to other people about how ridiculous it is but, it's what we want, and it's legally his choice, so, it's what we're doing.

DH is taking 2 months, but it cuts into my allowed 52 weeks (Canadian govt given to all pregnant women).I do not get maternity benefits through my work, and he does, so it's worth it for him to take a longer time than other people might.

DH is taking a week of from whenever the baby is born. His job is pretty flexible, and it's not a problem for them to not know exactly when he'll be taking off.
My DH does not get any paid paternity leave. So he will be taking a week of paid vacation and then depending on how much we have saved up by then will determine how much unpaid leave he will take. His work told him he is allowed to take up to 6 months unpaid paternity leave which would be nice but there is no way we could afford that!
My DH is self-employed so he will not be taking much time off. I hope he stays home for a week, but I don't think he will be able to take that much time.
My husband will probably just work from home. That way he doesn't have to take PTO. If he does go into the office, it'll be just for a couple of hours, I'm fine with that, my parents will be here to help out.
My husband won't be able to take much time off (since he's having to take 3 months off for his cancer treatments now.) I think he'll probably have to take a week of vacation time. I soooo wish he could take more time!
DH wants to take three months parental starting in January of next year. I get 12 weeks maternity, and then we begin 30-something weeks of parental, which can be taken by either of us through the government program in Canada. I will take parental until January, and he will go from January to early May.

DH gets one week paid, any time after that is unpaid and he has to coordinate it with the other two guys in his particular lab to make sure it is still covered. They're nice guys with kids though, and have all said they will make sure he gets a couple days a week off. He can't take too many though because we couldn't afford that.
DH is in the Marines so he gets 10 days plus he has a couple weeks of leave that he might use as well. We are going to wait and see how things are going. My mom is coming down for 3 weeks and my sisters are all taking turns coming here for short trips so he may save his leave for pre-deployment leave.
He doesn't get "paternity leave". He is allowed to use is accrued vacation days and take time without pay! How kind! He is going to take two weeks, mostly his vacation tiime but some will be unpaid i believe.

My DH doesn't get paid paternity leave, and since he's a supervisor, it's not easy for him to get time off, but he's planning to take a week, hopefully two, when the baby's born. It'll be nice for all of us to be together.

DH works two part-time jobs. He gets no paid leave, sick leave, vacation, anything. So probably the only time he will take off is while we're actually in the hospital. Once I'm home (and my mother will be here), he'll work as many regular shifts as possible. He was open to taking more time off but I'm too worried about the lost income.
DH doesn't get anything specifically for having a child. He plans to take 3 personal days (all he has) and then a couple of either unpaid or sick days, depending. He'll go back after a week off.
The upside: he's a teacher, so he'll be home for July and most of August.
My husband gets 6 weeks with FMLA (w/o having to use any of this sick/pto/vacation days) so he has all intentions of taking all 6 weeks. Yay! That's means that I'll have TWO babies at home!....lol He's already aware that he is here to help and that xbox will have to take a back seat for a while. And if he doesn't get it...you guys will all be seeing me on the 10 o'clock news! (((lol)))
DH gets 2 weeks paid paternity leave, but has to take it from his sick days. Thankfully he's saved that much. It may depend on whether you FI's job gives him x# of days off for the year or if he has to earn them. DH has to earn them so if we were in your shoes just starting he would have to take 2 weeks unpaid or none at all.
DH just started a new job two weeks ago so he won't have any PTO accrued before LO arrives. Fortunately, his boss knows the situation and may allow him to work from home a few days right after she's born. Worse case scenario though he has to go back to work right away and my mom and MIL will be around during the day to help.
DH is also scheduled to go to a training seminar out of state from May 15-30... I'm due May 13. So fingers crossed LO makes a slightly early or on-time arrival!
DH will probably only take off a few days of work. And he'll be starting classes a few days after our due date, so he won't get too much of a break.

with job #1, DH can work from home as needed (yay - internet!)
with job #2, DH will take a week's worth of vacation after my mom leaves. That way, he'll only be gone 25 hrs for the first week.
My husband gets 1 week off paid, but he is going to take 1 more week of vacation.
Mine is too. He will also take 2 weeks of leave a few months into my maternity leave. :-)
